Rollout of YORE Computer Store in 2024
Hello World!
Here is the plan: Build-out an online retro computer store! That's it.
Yes, there should be a little more to it. The store website should be fun to browse and bring the feeling of the nostalgia found when visiting those early computer stores. It should sell a variety of old retro computers and technology. And, also sell new retro technology designed for the old retro computer. It should be a starting point for finding about as much as possible about the old and new retro technology available. A resource for technology information and the electronics computer community, much like those old (retro) computer stores of yore.
Okay, more detail on the rollout.
Stage one: Building the initial site content and ideas, starting at near the beginning of the home computer revolution, the late 1970's. This is when it became possible for most people to buy a home computer in the United States. So the YORE Computer Store will start there. The Apple, Atari, Commodore and Tandy-Radio Shack 8-bit computers of that era will be the focus at the beginning of the rollout.
Next stages: Do the next eras. Add additional computers and technology. Wash, rinse and repeat.
